Former RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Winner the Vivienne Dies at 32
In a statement, a spokesperson expressed, “We are deeply saddened to inform you that our cherished James Lee Williams – The Vivienne, has passed away this weekend.”
James was a deeply loved, kind-hearted, and remarkable individual.
His family is devastated by the loss of their son, brother, and uncle. They take great pride in the wonderful things James accomplished throughout his life and career.

The Vivienne gained recognition in 2015 when she was appointed the UK Drag Ambassador for the American version of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
She later participated in the inaugural UK series of the show in 2019, ultimately emerging as the winner.
