2025 Jazz Fest ticket prices values: Special deals for Louisiana residents and more you need to know
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has revealed its lineup and ticket details for 2025, including special pricing for Louisiana residents. Here’s what you should know about the tickets.
The festival spans eight days, taking place from Thursday, April 24, to Sunday, April 27, and then again from Thursday, May 1, to Sunday, May 4, at the New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Course.
Residents of Louisiana can take advantage of reduced prices on weekend passes and single-day tickets. Weekend passes are currently available, while single-day tickets will be released at a later date. Additionally, Louisiana residents can purchase $50 Locals Thursday tickets, which will also be available later.

Fans can purchase four-day weekend passes for either weekend. For Louisiana residents, the price is $290 for either weekend until Jan. 31. After that date, the cost for Louisiana residents will be $305. Buyers must provide a Louisiana billing zip code.
For those who are not Louisiana residents, four-day weekend passes are priced at $329 until Jan. 31, then increase to $349 until Feb. 14, and finally to $369. Weekend pass holders will receive a wristband for entry, which is non-transferable and does not allow for re-entry to the festival.
General Admission+ (GA+) four-day passes for either weekend offer express entry gates and access to a lounge with private restrooms. Each pass includes a wristband that permits re-entry to the Fair Grounds. The pricing is set at $579 until January 31, then $629 until February 14, and $679 thereafter. Holders of GA+ wristbands can also re-enter the festival.
Both Thursdays will feature “Locals Thursday” discounts, with tickets priced at $50 for April 24 and May 1.

The “Big Chief VIP” passes, which grant holders access to exclusive viewing areas, restrooms, an indoor air-conditioned lounge, and various other amenities, will cost $1,899 for either weekend. This package also includes special beverage booths, elevated and covered viewing stands at the main stages, bleachers in select tents, the option to buy VIP parking ($300 for the weekend) and/or VIP shuttle tickets ($200), express entrance lines, and the ability to exit and re-enter.
The “Grand Marshal VIP” pass provides close-up, standing-room-only access near the Shell Gentilly Stage and the Congo Square Stage, along with entry to a special lounge and restrooms. These passes are priced at $1,749 for either weekend. On-site parking passes and VIP shuttle tickets can be purchased by pass holders.
The “Krewe of Jazz Fest” pass, which includes access to a private raised and covered viewing area near the largest stage and additional perks, is available for $929 for either weekend. Parking and VIP shuttles can also be purchased by pass holders.
